Overview

Bitcoin Stack Lab is a Bitcoin portfolio tracking and planning web app. It helps users track Bitcoin transactions, portfolio profiles, live BTC price estimates, planning tools, LTV scenarios, goals, projections, backups, and account access. Parts of the app can be used while signed out. Signed-in users can use account features such as cloud backup and server-backed Free or Pro access.

Information we collect

Bitcoin Stack Lab collects or stores only information needed to provide the app features you use. This may include:

  • Account information such as your email address, user ID, and authentication session details when you sign in.
  • App data you enter, such as transactions, portfolio profiles, selected currency, LTV loan setups, goals, projections, settings, and backup data.
  • Feedback or contact messages you submit through the app.
  • Subscription entitlement information, such as Free or Pro plan status and related subscription identifiers if present.
  • Technical data required to run the app, such as browser, device, session, network, diagnostic, or hosting-provider data handled by the services that operate the app.

Information users must not enter

Bitcoin Stack Lab does not need wallet secrets and will not ask you for them. Do not enter:

  • Seed phrases or recovery phrases.
  • Private keys.
  • Wallet passwords or exchange passwords.
  • Bank login details.
  • Two-factor recovery codes.
  • Signing details or wallet approval instructions.
  • Any other sensitive secret that could give someone access to your funds, accounts, or identity.

How information is used

Information is used to:

  • Provide the app, account access, and saved app data.
  • Calculate portfolio totals, transaction summaries, and planning estimates.
  • Provide cloud backup, cloud restore, file export, and file import features.
  • Manage Free and Pro capacity entitlements.
  • Send requested feedback, support messages, or alert emails when those features are enabled.
  • Improve reliability, troubleshoot issues, and protect the app from misuse.

Local storage, cloud storage, and backups

Some app data may be stored locally in your browser. Signed-in users may save and load app backup data using cloud storage. File export and import features let you create and restore your own backup files. You are responsible for storing exported backup files safely, because they may contain transaction, profile, and planning data. Clearing browser data, replacing a cloud backup, or importing the wrong file may affect what data is available in the app.

Third-party services

Bitcoin Stack Lab uses third-party services to operate current app features. These may include:

  • Supabase for authentication, cloud app data, backup records, feedback records, and subscription entitlement records.
  • Resend for app emails, such as feedback notifications and LTV risk alert emails when enabled.
  • Stripe for Pro subscription checkout, billing, and payment processing when paid subscription features are used.
  • CoinGecko for live and historical BTC price data used by the app.
  • The app hosting provider for serving the website and processing technical data needed to keep it running.

Payments and subscriptions

Paid Pro subscription checkout and billing are handled by Stripe. Bitcoin Stack Lab uses Stripe subscription events to update server-backed Pro entitlement records. Bitcoin Stack Lab does not store full card details.

Data security

Authentication is handled through the auth provider, and app data is protected using reasonable technical safeguards for the features provided. No system can guarantee absolute security. You should protect your account access, keep exported backup files private, and never enter wallet secrets, seed phrases, private keys, or passwords into Bitcoin Stack Lab.

Access, correction, and deletion

You can contact Bitcoin Stack Lab to ask about account data, correction, or deletion. Requests may require verification and may not be completed instantly. Some records may need to be retained for security, troubleshooting, legal, backup, or operational reasons.

Overseas disclosure and third-party processing

Some service providers used to operate Bitcoin Stack Lab may process or store data outside Australia. Bitcoin Stack Lab relies on those providers to operate authentication, hosting, cloud storage, email, and related app services.

Children

Bitcoin Stack Lab is not intended for children. If you are under the age of majority in your location, use the app only with appropriate parent or guardian involvement.
